plus the burden of the very dangerous dragon campaign was thrown to them cus of the marriage of maxi n riftan so from their pov they were risking their lives for the burden thrown to them while the lady of the house didnt want to leave her old house even after sending people to escort her to the castle, still wanted to stay with her fam, didnt perform the duties that any lady of the house back then was expected to, neglected the castle that it became so worn down now and only trying to improve it after 3 years so i guess from their pov she may not seem likeable to them and they r not aware of how she lived with her fam what she is like so i believe once they understand everything misunderstandings will clear and they will be fine!
