i think momo's older brother was already working at the brothel as a "trainer" or something, and momo was really really young. as far as i know they didn't really know each other, but then momo was orphaned and ended up at the brothel. whether he was recruited by another employee or his brother took him in himself, i'm not sure/don't remember. but anyway his brother took it upon himself to "train" momo, because he thought it'd be better if it was him rather than some stranger (since he would be easier on momo, and could take care of momo, etc.) except it's a brothel and the kind of "training" momo had to go through would be traumatic no matter what, leading to their fucked up situation Σ( ￣□￣||)
