But didn't he himself say that his blood weakened vampire powers? In that case, maybe Chi-Hwan lost all of his powers and became a human again so then Sooin (now a vampire) made him his link as a normal vampire would do with a normal human (idk if this makes sense)
Yeaaaa and what if the circle that was created by his former link (Joohyun) was part of him turning human and him drinking Sooin's blood actually helps Sooin because he'll have Sooin's blood in his system, and when he gave him his blood he actually gave sooin some of his blood too which could've helped at lot. What just happened? Here's my take
Sooin got that bastard's memories at the start after he got his vamp blood which changed him into a vampire and then Chi Hwan's memories and he magically became a full vampire-
And he gave his "poisonous" blood via mouth to mouth to Chi Hwan and he became his link
