I'm pretty sure people be complaining about Tia because they want a FL that is not pessimistic about the lingering past, yet that was the premise of Tia's character... how ironic of those people(lol). Plus i'm pretty dam sure it's because of her pessimistic side was she able to appeal to Cedric(since he felt protective of her).
I love Tia, and just like you said-- it's justified.
Really sad how people just read the chapter and not try to understand the character.
The comments r so funny, because even in their 1st life, its not confirmed if cedric harbors romantic feelings to lisha. I think he look after her as an older brother because he treats everyone in their duchy as an older brother. Now, Tia's attitude was justified because she felt undeserving and sinful with the duke and she thought cedric was already in love with lisha. She's on guard because she doesn't want to expect anything and already decided that cedric and lisha should be the end game. I hope people can understand Tia more and her insecurities and pain. She deserve to be happy as well.
p.s I'm so happy that rotten girl finally died!! She's beyond saving, to be honest!!
