Honestly, that chapter irritated the fuck out of me because wtf??? If anyone ever did that to me it'd be a complete betrayal of trust. It would take me a very long time to forgive them, if ever. That week of nothing after the annulment? Yeah that would break me forever and give me lots of trust issues. The degree of closeness that existed before the annulment would never be achieved again.
