didn't they already know that itadori was sukuna's vessel? When Todo was about to fight itadori, maki said "good thing we gave itadori to Todo." Which means they already know that itadori is sukuna's vessel?
The way I had to take a break from reading this due to second-hand embarrassment. The part where she kicks Itadori is supposed to be a joke, kind of like breaking the fourth wall. Imo, Maki just like the other JJK women are what we need, they can fight for themselves and are QUEENS.

Well here's the story of me not liking her. While i was watching the anime of Jujutsu Kaisen, i already liked Itadori and was in a mental breakdown when he died at Ep 5. And when maki's team and itadori's team met. Itadori was in the front saying "Let's Fight!" right? this was when they were about to fight mai's team. MAKI KICKED ITADORI AND SAID "Who said you were the leader?" AND MY FUCKING BRAIN SNAPPED AND WAS ABOUT TO BREAK MY FUCKING LAPTOP. BITCH CANT EVEN BEAT ITADORI AND HIS SUPERHUMAN POWERS. SO YEAH I STARTED THINKING THAT MAKI ISN'T EVEN THAT STRONG BEFORE BECAUSE SHE CAN'T SEE CURSES AND AND SHE ONLY USES DAMN WEAPONS. OKAY I DONT GIVE A FUCK IF SHES STRONG USING THOSE WEAPONS. I LITERALLY JUST THINK THAT ITS REALLY DISGUSTING FOR THEM TO THINK THAT MAKI'S THE LEADER. I eventually started reading the manga and HERE I AM. WATCHING MAKI BECOME EVENTUALLY STRONGER. WHICH PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH GRAHHHHH. I literally prefer Mai more.
