Hold up hold up, we don't know if this ends up being adorably cute as a life lesson. What if Gregory apologizes with all his heart? What if the son realizes, sometimes people deserve to be forgiven? That would be such a good lesson to forgive somebody and he might have some character growth? Gregory at him might actually end up being good friends and he finally made a friend. Maybe they both become better people because the mom is such a sweetheart?
No clue what will happen. But for now may he rest in peace or pieces.
