Actually, it's only confusing because the manga centers on our mc while the anime shows the other pov like the light novel(multi povs) and the story telling might be a little different but it's going the same way since it's both based on the light novel. I highly suggest that you do both to learn about the human side/other reincarnations. Just remember if you're gonna watch the anime, Kumuko's POV is in the past around this chapter while making it's way to the present which is the battle of demon army and the elves(In the anime and light novel)

Ok I was just wondering if the manga or anime was better. I could totally do both but a lot of the comments I've been seeing are saying that doing both gets really confusing and I'm not rly up for that lmao
