do the couple not kiss in weddings in korea? the mc was so shocked that they had to kiss when getting married. i know in a traditional korean weddings they don’t kiss or exchange rings but what about in modern ones? based on the amount of kdramas i’ve watched they do… but regardless, didn’t she think of it at all lol?
in addition, that scene with the archduke helping that bitch was just?? he literally IGNORES her to help florre and then she blushes just for catching her. his reason for why he did it was that she’d be labeled as being jealous of her sister due to her relationship with the emperor. i feel like ignoring her to help should’ve created rumors as well? he’s her FIANCEE so how would HIM helping the sister alleviate the rumors AT ALL if it had spread? “omg i saw dahlia push her sister and she fell! maybe she’s jealous of lady florre, apparently her and the emperor are really close so… oh wait nvm she’s not jealous bc her fiance helped the lady. awww” Like what??? hoes does that make sense.
also “the sun has to set for the moon to rise” doesn’t that mean the emperor who is called the “sun of the empire” has to disappear for the “moon” which is the archduke to rise? at least that’s what i got bc the mc called the duke the “moon” during her conversation with the saint. so idk why she’s confused on what the oracle means. i feel like she should’ve easily figured it out. maybe i’m wrong but why would they confuse us by calling the emperor “sun,” and the archduke “moon” in previous ch then give this oracle
another thing is how did lady joanna or whatev even know the servant was going to poison florre? literally if percival was planning to poison florre to help the archduke then you would think he’d make sure nobody would know about it. florre is still from house margaret so poisoning her would’ve still had consequences. it doesn’t make sense that this lady knew about the plan when she and percival don’t belong on the same side… maybe she has a spy??? idk
ANOTHER THING (yes i know there’s a lot) is with that knight. that whole conversation felt so weird. he asks her if she faked her poisoning so she basically says “i’ve almost lost my life yet i haven’t heard of any investigations on the culprit taking place” so he goes “is that so?” then she replies with “is this answer all that you needed” … okay? now what? what does he even plan to do with that answer? definitely not for an investigation bc we already know the culprit. he really went all the way here just to ask if she faked it or not? the leader of the holy knights or whatever has a lot of free time i guess…
in conclusion, i kind of stopped reading around chapter 18. there’s just so many things that don’t make sense but they keep adding more and it’s annoying. i feel like the questions i’m asking won’t even be answered by the characters either bc they act like everything makes sense after one explanation when it doesn’t. also what’s with the random “romantic” scenes? i can’t even root for it bc i’m just annoyed like now’s not the right time you guys
but yea idk maybe y’all can answer my questions RESPECTFULLY (dont be cussing me out or i WILL come for you) and try to convince me to read if you love this series but for now i’ll just… leave. yea. ciao.
