They completely butchered his character, and there is no way he can have a redemption arc (even if the author writes it).

He could've just been misguided and desperate, but the author decided to push him over a line he can't come back from. It sucks, for a while I thought Rino had someone she could trust and would have her back when Ed was being an a$$, then this happens.
She's back to having noone that is purely on her side and that she can trust. I like Ed, but he's controlling and can be immature (especially when it comes to her).
