Why do people expect her to just forget all her trauma and happily say "yeah sure I'll be with you even thou I'm not prepared for this and it will probably be life changing for me, while you get on with your life just as before, let me just erase all the past abuses and fears de my mind!"
ikr i feel like her choice was perfect for the story and where she currently is at shes focusing on her career and she is still dealing with everything and has a lot on her mind and it hasnt been that long either although she has been happy for a while but shes starting to realize other things along with it like how the author said or how she thinks its a 'mirage' which is really sad but i love the story and i have no doubt it will end perfectly and will have its full circle and has the ending it deserves
