I could be wrong, since it wasn't very clear, but i think it was implied earlier that he can somehow sense others' emotions. He said "i sense fear and sadness" when he first met her while she was painting. This could also be why he never liked her in the first timeline, assuming he sensed her bad personality as opposed to just finding out about it.

Just because a person doesn't like you doesn't mean it's fake, a person can not like you and feel bad about something they did to you because not everything is INTENTIONAL and people have regret. You're a king you need to know not everything is black and white. Better yet, the girl seems more so UNCOMFORTABLE around you and you recognized she was SCARED of you
Don't brush it off as mere dislike you clearly remind of her of something bad, if it bothers you so much you act pissy then you can scrounge up what's left of your pride and ask her why-
