I can't stand Caste Heaven. I gave up on it. It's too brutal and cruel and dark.
I really wish she'd do more like Kono Ore Ga etc. The humor was great. The quirks were great. The friends were great. The art was super. And while there was a touch of pain and darkness, it wasn't a lot. It was mostly cute and funny and silly and romantic.
I really wish she'd do more of that. The twisted dark stuff hurts my brain and heart. If the art weren't so cool....I'd probably ditch this one, too.
Oh, and Karino should go and die. I hate him.
It's not like I don't understand your feelings. Honestly speaking I usually prefer realistic but cute/funny stories than dark ones. About Caste Heaven... well, I suppose that after reading tons of seriously messed up shi*t my level of 'tolerance' is different.

I love her art, that's why I want more of the funnier, less dark stories. Her sense of humor is actually really great.

I don't like it... And I'm telling it as a fan of Ogawa Chise's works. I have nothing against messed up stories but this one made me feel really disgusted. For example, I love Caste Heaven. I like that Azusa has balls and Karino has such a twisted personality. Uke in Red Theatre has no balls and seme is one of the worst assholes I've ever seen in yaoi (I think Karino compared to him seems to be pretty nice guy, haha). That's all. I'm sorry if I offended anyone but that's how I feel.
