I dunno if the person was exclusively talking about the manga or they believe in souls in general like if they believe in souls and reincarnation then yh it'd make sense to see soul having no gender. Like think of souls as an organ, not the person's consciousness. Like the soul can reincarnate as a tree or something. Does this make any sense?
