The families would definatly interact with each other. He's worried his son would get influenced by their behaviour or even worse get hurt because of it because did you not see what just almost happened, the son almost got smashed in the head. It's not wrong for him to be worried because its something hes been observing for a while, he just never voiced his opinion on them because his son was happy with Charlotte. I'm not saying separating them would be a good thing. But it's not wrong that he thinks that way (=・ω・=)
Just because one is rotten, doesn't mean the rest are. You really think you're going to make your son happy that way. It's not like you have to see her side of the family anyway.
