Could someone explain me the yellow rose thing (〜￣△￣)〜

Duke Taran used to play around a lot. So he would sleep with women and when they became clingy he would stop. To send the women a clear rejection, Jerome( butler) would send them Yellow Roses, that symbolise Break up

To them yellow flower means break-up
