Hwan just doesn't seem kind of obsess, he's a manipulative possessive bastard even if he does loves Chiwoo but that's a psychopath's love. Chiwoo deserves to run away from a psychopath and find someone better. But then again it's the author's way of writing (cuz same goes for their other novels ╥﹏╥ poor ukes liking manipulative semes)
