that's true, we can't be 100%sure, but I have a feeling that Gabrielle is going to stick around him for a few chapters, which annoys me, simply because she will take our precious chapter time off from the FL

From the spoilers I read, it doesn't seem like it. The dad and brother are super powerless, and all the families know it, so they're useless as tools. Gabrielle might get a crush on the cousin, dunno there, but she keeps chasing after Chris on her own, which isn't really a sign of her moving on.
She really just fades away into obscurity at the end; Gabrielle is not even worth thinking about. The story is really just about Hilise breaking her curse.

People are allowed to speculate and form their opinions regarding on the attitude/ mood around the blondie and the other cousin. Manhuas CAN be predictable. Authors tend to also highlight/ add more/some plot into the story. Although strong points from the “spoilers” taken from the manga it can’t entirely rule out a side character being sympathetic and seeing each other as love interest although having known that they won’t end up with each other anyway.
Gabrielle doesn't deserve a new love interest, atleast not until she "redeems" herself
