I was seriously shocked when we got the “climax” in the FINAL CHAPTER of the story. No manga or book I’ve read has ever done that, and for good reason. I loved the beginning, and I seriously thought it had potential, but the moment we started meeting new people and it turned into a giant corn maze, it got boring. I was confused for every single chapter after around chapter 6, and it didn’t help that the side characters all seemed kinda insane. Why didn’t Woojin just go to therapy
Ah sorry, got cut off.
Woojin seriously should’ve had some form of medical help though, especially if his anxiety around social situations is shown as being astronomical. Didn’t help that his lover also screamed at his face, and then thought he was cute super suddenly, and then half-assed their relationship for the rest of the story. Neither side put real work in, and Woojin was seriously wishy washy the entire story.
It had so much potential to be a good story, but I think it started to forget where it started. It started off with developing the differences around pets and people between Woojin and Sangyook, and I feel like it had a really good thing going, but then it started including more people and more plot and more backstory and became a hell fest.
You brought up a lot of good points on the flaws of this story. I definitely agree! I also enjoyed the beginning but began to lose interest very quickly once I realized there wasn't much focus at all as we kept progressing through the "plot". Very unfortunate things turned out this way cuz I also thought this had potential to be a good story.
Yeah me too… I speed read mangas a lot, so I’m always looking for new ones to read that are completed. I was really excited when I started this one, especially since I thought the idea of Woojin having two sides around Sangyoon would be exciting to read. If this manga dived into the idea of Sangyoon meeting the blonde, kind, animal loving Woojin and falling in love, and then hating normal Woojin because of miscommunication, it would be soooo good. But, Sangyoon very quickly learned they were the same person. Such a shame ┗( T﹏T )┛
Apparently the author was planning to make this story ~80 chapters but was suddenly told to cut it down to 40. It definitely shows and explains a lot, but I totally agree that it would have been so much better without all the unnecessary conflict ( ̄へ ̄)Not to mention the author is making more Yaoi fan service, even though this isn’t a sex driven plot at all.

Based on the content I've just read, it feels like none of the characters should be in a relationship, not even Woojin and Sangyoon.
I personally don't even know if Woojin really liked Sangyoon that much... looks like he was physically attracted to Sangyoon, but emotionally, he was definitely half-half still into Sangwook. I mean, who is gratified by the fact that their ex-crush confessed...wouldn't be me if I already have someone new. I don't know, his reaction was strong for someone who supposedly is in love with someone else. Up until that point, Woojin's reactions gave me mixed signals. I legit thought there was a chance he and Sangwook might end up together. What I think author could have done was make it more clear Woojin is over Sangwook, that he wasn't bitter about the past anymore. All the while he's showing these new feelings for Sangyoon, he was also moping about Sangwook and that, imo, just makes his feelings for both of them half-assed.
And then we have Sangyoon who let this other person touch him all over and his first thought is "how come Woojin isn't getting jealous" SIR, it doesn't matter if your lover should or should not be jealous, you are the one who should know better than to let other people touch you in the first place. If you're letting others touch you JUST so you can see how jealous your lover is, then that is no good. Just say "no, don't touch me" and be over with it.
Don't get me started on the issues with red-head and villain dude. They both got a pat on the back for being shitty people. Yay. Especially red-head since he changed title from being a bully to being a potential side couple character. I mean, with the flashbacks we clearly were told that red-head isn't a good person. Why is he acting all friendly and shit with the victim...am I supposed to just look over that or smth? I wasn't into it.
Pacing and plot inconsistencies, along with characters being underdeveloped.
Overall, meh.
