that's what i've been saying! while i do think dion is attractive it repulsed me by how well praised he was and how people rooted for him as a ML. i quite like this MC as she is not an evil or good person, just like most people. while i may not kill people for money i understand her circumstances and whatnot. wish people were more open minded and realized that not every MC has to be a perfect sweet and gentle person.

to think that a lot of the horny girls on this app simped for dion from The Way to Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother yet can’t find it in their hearts to sympathize of feel for judith. not only that but every emotionless conventionally attractive male killer/yandere type is fawned over yet we draw the line at a morally gray mc? i’m not saying she didn’t do a lot of wrong in her past life but she was raised in poverty, worked as a maid from a young age and had to care for a sickly mother in her teen years. she’s a commoner with debt and no support system who fell into the lies of a manipulative authority figure. he blackmailed her and made her believe she was too far gone to turn back to a better path.
hating on the mc only proves to me that the young girls who read these manhwas will excuse any actions a male takes yet hold female counterparts to an immeasurable standard. this is why you’ll only get the cookie cutter self insert mc with no personality as protagonists since they’re exactly what y’all want anyways.
