Yeah that’s why I’m saying both of them are contributing to their unhealthy dynamic. It’s obvious that Yeonwu loves Taehwan and wants a relationship with him, and it’s even mentioned that he’s only putting up with being a sexual object to Taehwan because of how much he loves him. But that’s just severely unhealthy. I mentioned in a previous chapter comment that I hate how it’s become a norm for bl/yaoi characters to fall for someone obviously toxic and horrible, and they have to wait for them to become better people rather than falling for the obviously better and healthier option in the first place, like Alex. It just makes me feel like romance is dead for the gays.

The reason why this is so gross is because it’s the only aspect of their relationship. Obviously there are couples with kinks like this, but there’s always love and aftercare involved with it. But when it comes to these two, everything’s just very unhealthy. Yeonwu’s unhealthy for being so pent up over a guy that he can literally get abused by him and still adore the ground he walks on. Taehwan’s unhealthy for reveling in the fact that he could break another person down and they simply wouldn’t care. I still think Yeonwu was gross for taking advantage of his sleeping friend like that even if it was just a kiss, and Taehwan is so toxic that it isn’t even funny. They both have a lot of shit that they need to deal with before their relationship could even be considered okay.
