I so agree. By my count, he’s in his mid-20s, but he certainly acts like my 9 year old sister:/ Its so off-putting that not a single chapter has satisfied me so far, as a reader.
And isn’t it strange that after 30+ plus chapters n even escaping to Asher’s fren’s place, he still hasn’t asked them to teach them the most important thing—Which is how to stabilise himself from the surge? Like wtf!!!
I get that many readers get off on this codependency thing with Lou or lucien or whatever the hell he calls himself. But this whole thing has just stressed me out. These r just my thoughts, in case somebody wants to deny me my own thoughts. Just putting it out there.
I know he’s naive and everything but like…to fall for your kidnapper, isn’t that like Stockholm syndrome..and idk he just give me to weak, innocent “woe is me” heroine with strong powers type of vibe like, ugh, how naive are you?? And after finding out being manipulated he stayed and love Lou like I can’t even…Don’t get me wrong the story is interesting but the MC just stresses me out
