If the artist doesn't change the original story, in novel there will be a deadly plague show out then while Ahin investigating it Ash and Vivi will get attacked, Ahin will find them while Vivi is in her human form, that's when he sees her as human for the first time. Though this might change just like how the artist changed Ahin's hair color from silver to black just to make it fit.

his hair was originally silver? was he silver when he transformed too? That seems like an odd choice from the og author! Black Panther's arent even a type of animal to begin with it just means a black member of the panther family which could even be a lion or tiger so if he wasn't even black it'd be real weird to call him that.
