Well what do you want her to do then? The whole manhwa has pointed out that Duke Evron has enemies and once his enemies figure out that she is his weakness, it's a rational and legitimate move to capture her. This time, she just somehow got captured for a different reason but who's to say that she won't be kidnapped again in the future? Why aren't damsels allowed to be in distress? She's proven her strengths in strategy, planning, manipulation and critical thinking.. so why is she also expected to not be kidnapped? Why does she have to also be strong/badass physically? ML has promised MC that she'll be safe in his castle yet she still got harmed, the fault lies entirely with ML so it makes sense for him to save her. I have no idea where that "magically" of yours came from. Did you miss the last couple of chapters where they investigated, interrogated people and made deductions as to where the kidnapper is?

that's not my point. my problem is the execution, I'm not expecting her to turn super saiyan and beat up everyone up but i don't like it when these supposedly super clever political geniuses get saved by their knight in shining armor either. they could've put her in a situtation where she has to escape by & free herself manipulating several guards, hiding etc. but instead we listen to this dude bitching about how he wants to fuck her despite being killed by her and the whole situtation is used just to break the ice between the main couple. i was expecting much more from a side character also remembering his past life but it was anticlimactic as hell, all she did was to promise she'd kill the queen. i have absolutely zero interest in the romance so it's flustrating that %80 of the focus bas become either them being lovey dovey or having relationship problems and not communicating at all. it's not because i find it unrealistic, it's because i personally don't like the way the plot is progressing and you're free to think otherwise

Ahhhh so that's what you meant lol I misunderstood haha. Yes you do have a point, however I'd advice you to not think too much of it because a lot of shoujo manhwa/manga, no matter how good they are at the beginning, will mostly fall short when it comes to portraying growth in a relationship. Usually, when characters have internal dilemma, some authors will force a sudden unnecessary deus ex machina that is convenient to the main characters just for the sake of drama.
It's hard to find a story that meets everybody's expectations ¯_(ツ)_/¯
