ik yall dont like how defenceless the fl is but from my own perspective if i was teleported to a place where not a single person spoke my language and the difference in culture values and norms was THAT different i would be way more scared than her tbh she is so brave she was able to trust the ml despite there being a language and culture barrier and her traumatic experiences with someone ,who as far as she knows, is friends with the him. She has every right to be petrified. I couldnt just show up in Early medieval Britain and understand what would be going on and unless ur fluent in latin i dont think you would either.
