Lost major data?
Something like that happened to me too except it was not too long ago we had a power outage due to a flood and my PS3 decided to forget all my saves of every game I had ever played on it. That was a depressing day. (╥﹏╥'')
The whole game was lost but it could of be worse.
That's rough I can imagine ╥﹏╥

The only thing worse is saving in a spot you are stuck and can't go back.
either way you'd have to restart the game or figure out a way to get unstuck
Back then there was no auto save. Something like that once happened to me except there was a power outage while I was saving. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
