no i dont think thats the case.. the crown prince a freak.. he gave helena the dress knowing that eris is wearing the same one and always thinks that helena cant do any wrong, the crown prince sees her as this pitiful angel even though helena never asked him to and the way the crown prince hates eris isnt just because of helena although its probably been amiplified because of it but the way i see it if helena asked the crown prince to stop he would just ask her "why?" or "she's done so many bad things to you" he would never actually stop hating her

i can see that but in this situation helena REALLY hasnt done anything wrong.. its like for example if you dated a guy without knowing he was dating someone else obviously thats not the case here because helena knows eris exists but she doesn't have the right to speak up she sees the position she puts eris in and because of that decides she'll always forgive eris no matter what she does. helena knows shes wrong but because of her position she can't do anything about it, she cant tell the prince no and nobody is on her side even if she did speak out no one would believe her and everyone would just blame eris again
