Nah I’m positive that he has feelings for him. That long look of his and the mangaka’s emphasis on their closeness ain’t just for nothing. Based on the Chinese raws, it seems like he took back what he said to the mc but he took advantage of their lovers’ quarrel and made a move on the ml when they were alone.

Oh no it’s nothing like that fortunately! I wasn’t able to see chapter 5 before this reply but now I just did. He was caressing him and said some things. Perhaps a confession? But it looks like the seme backed away and rejected him but his friend tried to play it off as a joke. At least that what it seemed like to me. Take this with a grain of salt tho!
