Plot twist!?

I know my topic is late but...

IS ARLENDO ACTUALLY THE SON OF MEDEA?

Is that why Medea favors Arlendo??

I thought about this when the duchess recalled back the memory of her meeting with the Emperor and the baby and that the Emperor pronounced the baby as HER/SHE.

Or was it just TRANSLATION MISTAKE?

Damn, I'm confused as hell ヽ(`Д´)ノ

The first girl child died and the second boy child was born 15 days later.
The translation was hard to understand, but it was saying the first girl was born from a previous woman, not Medea.

Possible that Medea killed the first born girl after killing the previous woman, while she was "pregnant" with the boy. Still not sure if he is Medea's kid.

No no no. The duchess mentioned about Medea's dead princess so the dead princess was born from Medea. What I dont understand is why the heck did the emperor pronounce the baby as SHE/HER when it should have been HIM/HIS because Arlendo is a dude.

Yeah but that doesnt mean she really is his grandma. Maybe the royal family are trying to hide from him?

This is making me crazy mannn. I hope the translation team can find someone to help them proofread cuz bad translation is no good for our brain, especially with this kind of heavy plot.

There was one scene of blue haired Medea, but multiple scenes showed blond hair lady next to the father of the baby.
So there was a second woman in the story.

But that is the wife of the current Emperor. Her step-daughter in law. Why would Medea wants to kill her? To switch the babies? But the current emperor shouldnt known if that was the case. I mean isnt it weird that the emperor called the baby as her/she and yet is fine with the baby grown into a male? Unless the author wants to tell us that Arlendo is actually transgender.
