But she is kinda forced by him...cuz her status is lower than his and her mom is also shown as pressurizing her... and we know the crown prince is an A-Hole... I don't wanna blame Helena for the Prince's mistakes, so I am holding back judgement for now
It’s more than likely she WAS pressured, let’s remember Helena is a commoner, rejecting the crown prince’s invitation is like treason during this time period.
Hence the reason, she would rather have rumors be thrown in the air about her and the prince than suffer because she rejected him and get harassed or bullied.
Unless she’s mentally ill there’s no way she didn’t understand almost half the things she done so far have been wrong.
I get that but if we think abt what’s happened so far there’s been cases where she CAN say no and she has but she was basically forced to go. Yeah he is someone who is straight-up toxic and shitty.. I think Helena def has a little mental issue cuz her mom was clearly unhinged with how she forced her to pretend to be nice and oblivious... but she still can be redeemed, if Eris and Helena have an open, honest convo, that is. I really don't want the author to make Helena unredeemable cuz it would be nice to have a healthy female friendship in this manhwa where all the MLs are either too scarred by past trauma or downright bastards like the prince
I don’t like how she acts to be innocent, she knows he got an fiancé and still went with him. I would understand if she said no and constantly was pressured by him to go with him I’ll understand that but if he didn’t and she just said yes just because that’s wrong. I do think she didn’t know about the dress though, I feel like she was genuinely shocked at what had happened and felt remorse for that.
