Imo it's moving faster than a lot of other stories where they take forever before ml and FL have obvious feelings / find out about stuff.
Yeah, the flashbacks are the ones that makes the story feels slow when you read one chapter weekly, especially chapter 1-20
But after you passed chapter 20, the pacing is actually normal, also the flashbacks turns out to be really necessary to continue the story
The ideal way is binge-reading chapter 1-20 at one time, then wait other chapters weekly, the first time i found this in other language, it already had 23 chapters, so i don't think the pacing is slow, but it must be slow for mangago readers who wait for a long time where the flashbacks are still in progress
