Literally like my school. I knew someone who suddenly get punched out of no where one time, they kept trying to attack her so she ended up pushing them away so she could escape, the attacker person ended up falling and she ran.
Next day she got news that they saw it on the cameras and she was suspended because "if someone hits you that doesn't mean you can hit them back, so the school said it was wrong of her to push the person away. :/

Sadly real-life high schools, universities and colleges cover up on-campus rape and sexual assaults all the time. It is a true pattern of behaviour to victim-blame with the consequences of going after your assailant being dire. If the rapist is on a major varsity team, sport, or has monetary value to the institution you'd be horrified what they are willing to overlook for the sake of their rep.
Shitty school with a shitty ass principal. Victim-blaming and and punishming a student who is trying to defend themselves. Not even the parent of the kid is called. What a shit-ass school.
