It's not like to the Crown Prince has been communicating clearly. He doesn't even know that he's like him since he was just waiting around with the assumption that Louis liked him and would confess any day. Not very proactive.
I really pity the MC for having to go through the carriage incident! ╥﹏╥ The misunderstanding of him believing the crown prince to merely use him as a plaything made the situation even more humiliating. additonally he even kisses the floor afterwards...
