lol he told shion that ages ago and they even "confirmed" it when they had penetrative sex with shion as a man. but they havent become an Official couple yet for reasons not yet made clear but i guess shion's "curse" and rui's weird emotional hangups are a factor. but this is motivated purely by jealousy and not cuz he's trying to punish shion for smth or pretending he doesnt have feelings for shion. (rui has a rough way of speaking but he's pretty up front about how he feels towards shion? he's just not very romantic in his expression of it? but thats not the same as being dishonest tho)
