This is only my assumption but I think the count is related to the fl's mother and he has somewhat grudge against her.
Since she looks like fl's mother i think thats why he locks her up and tortures her or maybe he has a grudge against fl's mother or her family but it also shows that he's siding with the 1st prince too.
it feels like the count love the mc's mom but she doesnt love him back and had a child with the duke. bcz he couldnt have the mom he wanted to at least have the daughter. the more you love the more you hate... so it kinda makes sense that he was good to her at first but after everyone abused her... ofc idk if the stuff i have been saying is true since i dont read the novel ><
He’s not related to the mother he was in love with the mother and got rejected. The mcs parents fell in love and they had her somehow he forgot about it and idk what happened to the mother but I assume brown haired guy did something to her and got ahold of mc because she reminded him of the mother (reference:the flashbacks from her first life)
This is dragging too long or was the update too long, idk anymore, but can novel readers spoil me what the fuck does that black haired bitch of a father want from the kid, why is he so obsessed with her? But not doing anything to her? Does he have plans for her when she grow up or does the kid have something in her that he know and can be useful to him or something?
