It's probs because of his training as well as being resolved to protect his family. Also, since the start of the story, I don't think one whole year has passed by. In addition, his classmate who is also a spy was talking about his absence in school in the new chapter.

Yeah I noticed it too in the recent chapters. He looks kinda grown-up and more mature now compared to the first chapters. Guess it shows how his character has developed mentally and physically.
