Actually, I think she still wants it deep down, but she's cautious because of her trauma. She was born poor and a tiara was kind of her dream possession.
You're kinda making a big deal out of it.. I think he didn't complain about her not taking the tiara as much as he thought of it as a " gift" you know? I'd be upset too if someone refused a gift I brought for them. And to be honest that tiara is so cool that even though I don't care about princesses stuff I would love to wear one ヾ(☆▽☆)

And she’s a knight/guard. Where’s the practicality of giving her a tiara? If someone gave me tiara, sure i’d like to try it on but I’d be questioning the giver his reasons for giving me a tiara of all things
