exiling the king would mean there's a chance of people finding out so killing him and silencing the people who witnessed it would be the best solution. it 'usually' isn't a great way to manage things but sometimes it's necessary to make sacrifices especially if not making them would cause thousands to die. i don't know a damn thing about politics either just guessing from what we've seen so far. seeing how you're so against soo-won's ways i was expecting you to come up with an entirely different solution lol
like i said, your interpretations of hiryuu make sense but personality wise, soo-won does have the power of attracting people regardless of social status. i'm saying this again, yona can be a great king/queen, i never said she can't but i (personally) don't think she'd be happy living that kind of life
we never said that yona was only out here to play with the dragons. we understand that she was spending her time helping each tribe separately. but if she became the ruler of kouka kingdom, she wouldn't be able to do the work that she has been doing. as a ruler, its not generally your job to win over the hearts of and attract commonfolk. rulers tend to work with their advisors and, in this case, the generals/leaders of the four tribes. then, those generals deal with the commonfolk. the difference between the earth tribe's loyalty to soowon and the fire tribes loyalty to soowon was because of the generals, since theyre the ones that influence the rest of their tribe. soowon would not have gained the trust of the earth tribe if it hadnt been for soowon's proposal for the game, allowing the earth tribes leader to win, which pumped up the rest of the commoners. soowon does in fact have the ability to attract commonfolk, but since he is the ruler of kouka, he cant always make time to please the regular people. soowon is short on time and has a lot he needs to do so it makes sense that he was unable to connect with the entire kingdom without any political reasoning. yona on the other hand, has more time to deal with the situation that her father threw the kingdom in. also, we have never said that yona was incapable of ruling over kouka. we simply stated that yona would not be happy there. she enjoys travelling and helping around kouka kingdom with hak and the dragons.
coz his character shows major signs that he will die an honorable death, he can only redeem himself thru dying so he can be canonized as a saint
