Um no. So what happened was, Aria's father (chloe) was kicked out with his mother(aria's grandma) because chloe is not of imperial blood. Her grandma had an affair. The grandma is actually a noble from another country and already have a lover. But there's this one royal who like the grandma and force her to marry him. They got a daughter which is the judge(frey) and chloe (but he's not his son). When he found out, both were kicked out and the grandma married her former lover. So b4 chloe was kicked out, he met Aria's mom and he fall in love with her. He actually want to marry her, but was kicked out before that. So aria & Asher are not related and aria basically is a noble. Haha sorry it got too long, I got excited because this is favorite novel:D
