...My parents are like his parents too. I got distinctions in most of my subjects for school but my mom scolded me and told me that I had to try harder or I'll drop to the bottom of society. Just because she wanted me to get distinction for ALL of my subjects, excluding chinese. My dad even told me that I was just wasting time by reading books and said that I could have done better if I stopped slacking.
