korea has weird standards. over there it’s bad if you have divorced and it’s bad if u date a divorcee

It's almost the same in India. But marriage is different. If your parents arrange your marriage with a divorced man, no probs, but if you date a divorced man, god the society will chew you out.
And it's almost a crime to be a divorced woman. Someone might as well throw stones at you if you're younger and hold hands with a divorced woman. Single divorced women have it harder, and her children also sometimes (mostly from what I have seen) get verbally abused as well.
It's kinda scary.
