She does care for him, she wouldn’t have been hurt as many times by him since finding out he wanted to divorce if she didn’t. She’s spoken many times about how hard it was for her. Hopefully those feelings will die out soon though.
I think she did care a bit but mostly she was hurt because she was trained all life for her to be an Empress, and to take that away it wiuld mean as if she wasted all her life or as if you basicaly killed her(?) I think so at least
No, she actually thought back on how they grew up together and he wasn’t just a husband she was forced to marry, they’d actually developed a bond that she believed to be stronger than it turned out to be after he betrayed her over and over. First by bringing in a mistress, second by getting her pregnant and third, by divorcing Navier. She wouldn’t have been hurting that bad if she wasn’t emotionally attached to him.
I guess it’s a blessing that she’s not actually IN love with him.
