I was looking for that "spoiler warning" botton but it was nowhere to be found, in fact, I only found the "Allow anonymous to reply" botton where the "spoiler warning" supposed to be. Hope you understand! But at least I did put at the topic bar "Spoiler". It was supposed to be "Poiler Warning" but I accidentally pressed the "post"

Eclis is the first to betray her in this timeline, since he thought bringing the true princess home would mean he gets to have FL to himself…is really bothering me lol. Because she keeps overlooking the fact that she is relying on a WHOLE ENSLAVED MAN to be the 100% meter to her salvation, but doesn’t seem to understand what that means. Meanwhile, she’s ignoring the prince as a possible option because he’s “crazy” yet he’s the only one who is honest about his intentions and actions. Its easier to win over someone like that than It is to win over a snake/someone you can’t read.

I'm not trying to defend Penelope here, since it's true that she did think of using Eclis because she wants to go home and based on her observation, he was the best choice to get 100%. However, all hell break loose when the system came to a point that getting 100% is NOT the focus of the favourability meter.
The meter was no longer showing points and Penelope truly didn't know who to trust so she was very hostile to all of the MLs. It took the prince a long time to fully gain her trust.
The novel is written from Penelope's pov and the longer I read the novel, the more depressed I got. I understood Penelope's feelings of wanting to run away from everything and I really felt pity for her. She had suffered in her previous world, and now she still has to suffer in this world. While its true that she has crown prince as a support, I could feel that she was truly just really really tired and want everything to end quickly. So I don't blame her for putting her hopes in Eclis since she's not here for a vacation, she just really wants to quickly get out of this situation.
