No, they are equal.. they both mistreat their wife, taking them for granted while sleeping around and denying their love for them and acusing them of cheating/ bullying/ being unfit. Yet at the same time they reject their wife's they wont give the wife freedome, they will try to keep the wife locked up while still mistreating them. these men will even force a devorce by claimining the wife unfit/ a criminal yet expect the now ex-wife to stay by their side.
And god forbid, if the now abandomed mistreated ex tries to leave.. these men will do everything in their power to lock them in a cage next to them because "they must love their husband forever".. and when faced with a problem they themself caused.. they will go into denial and blame it all on the wife or in both men's cases go into denial about their feeling and "its all for the best".

Wrong, Shovieshu brought in a mistress and then got pissed at Navier for callin Trisha his mistress, he then accused her of starting a rumor that Trash was a Slave (she didnt he himself did caused it).
Shovieshu the gets pissy at Navier for not acomondating his mistress who keeps trying to aproach er with words like "We are like sisters, as we are sharing a husband"...
Add to that the fact that he acuses FL of being unfaithfull with a diplomat they are nogotiating with.. he literaly ways "SO thats your type" infront of the diplomat, and later when FL is negotiating a trade deal .. he almost ruins it my acusing the diplomat of having an afair and even says shit like "i bet your already sleeping together".. after this he continues to comment on the empresses behavior saying "act your part" and "any compliment and your ready to cheat" to her while he is openly flaunting his pregnant mistress..
Sovieshu is just as bad. The main difference is the "power" the FL hold. Hyeonbi has close to none while Navier runs ish making Sovieshu seem less villainous. But essentially both ML leads are jealous for no reason, are biased to the side hoes, misunderstand everything related to FL, mistreat them for their own misunderstandings, ... etc.

remember the scene in the pub? The ml knows that FL is following him to that sketchy place and still LEFT HER THERE DEFENSELESS. he knows what shit might happen there and yet he still left knowing full well that that place is filled with people with no good intentions. I mean granted he left a guard but what could one guard do against a group of men. and boom didn't the FL get hurt and shit?
anyway both are evil and do not deserve a character redemption arc.
