You also have to remember she said she forced him into marriage hoping he would eventually fall for her so really thats all her fault it would have been different if he loved her at the start but he never did and eventually he fell for the spinel only to make her realize she can never have him and divorced him so that he can actually be happy

I find it more disgusting that you were okay she forced him into marriage thinking she would eventually fall for her it wasnt love it was an obession at that point the one in the wrong is not the men it was the women I know its a hard pill to swollow but she should have been smarter and not forced him into marriage when he never did like or love her in that way like I stated before its her karma for doing that therefore you saying he cheated is not correct info when love never bloomed for both people in this case

I know I made errors it just find it dumb that people keep saying he cheated he did not the only wrong thing he did was distant himself to hurt her but he never loved or liked her in that way and she was fully aware of that.

Sorry but she forced someone in a relationship that didn’t want to be in one. She wanted a forced love.. That's not healthy at all. She literally used her status to trap him. In the real world we call her a Egotistical Manipulative Narcissistic. I’m not excusing his behavior , but this wouldn’t have happened if she didn’t do what she did.

Uhm, I wasn’t invalidating how it was bad for her to force him into marriage for her own selfish reasons? all I said was although yes, it was forceful marriage it doesn’t excuse someone from cheating on their s/o. I don’t really get how you understood my comment but theres that.

As I said just now, I never validated any forceful marriage, all I said was cheating whilst married or in a relationship in general makes you just as bad as the other person. They were already getting a divorce anyways, he could’ve just waited a few more days till he could just date Garnet, but instead he chose to be eager, which made his situation even worse.

I hope you guys actually understand that as someone who’s being cheated on, it doesn’t feel good to find out the other is cheating on you, whether or not it was forceful. Especially in his state, the more he cheated the more angered his wife became which slowly escalated to him abusing Garnet as well.

No doubt, i’m against forceful marriage but if you cheat that makes you a shit person as well, and like I said, they were already going to get divorced. Why must he have been so eager? could’ve just waited a few more days till the divorce.

I’ve also been cheated on and i was also that girl that forced a relationship with someone. It hurts just as much to feel trapped in a relationship where you don’t love a person.

But it doesn’t excuse you to commit infidelity. It’s like saying if someones cheats on you, you cheat on them back, clearly yes the wife wasn’t in the right. But the husband clearly could’ve tried his best to wait for the divorce rather than cheat. No matter what context, don’t be as bad as the other person.
