He's an asshole.
He gets brainwashed by the villain and betrays Penelope.
He indirectly causes Penelope to try and kill herself because she is sick and tired of everything that is going on.
Even after he sees Penelope fighting to death trying to save him he keeps trying to get in her way because he thinks she is killing his sister(Yvonne)( I mean this is because he is brainwashed, but...I still won't forgive him...)
After everything is over and Penelope wants to get engaged to the Prince, Derrick tries to stop her by saying something like "he doesn't deserve you". (BRO SHUT THE HECK UP. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU R???)
Anywayy between the two brothers, Pinky is wayyyyy better.
oh thank god, im a huge fan of Reynold's sort of character development and his tsun tsun-ness but who's the villain? have we already met them?

Surprise surprise.....
It's Yvonne...the og daughter of the duke.
But the real Yvonne is dead, she died when she saw her father adopt Penelope. The thing that was trying to take over her body kept saying that her father is replacing her with someone better. And when she saw Penelope get adopted she just gave up and the "thing" got control of her body.
After the story ends though Penelope has a talk with Yvonne (turns out she's just like Renold) and Yvonne finally decides to move on and be reincarnated.
