Erm, This isn’t my specialty, but there are some places where antisocial personality disorders(which psychopathy falls under to) wouldn’t be considered for an insanity défense since psychopaths can provide full details of the crime they’ve committed, and they’re also aware that the acts they’ve committed are legally wrong… so they can still go to jail. Idk about Korean laws so idk if they have this tho ( ̄∇ ̄")

No, I get you dw. I apologize if I came across as if I’m trying to villainize a mental illness, not my intention at all. I wasn’t trying to criminalize schizophrenia. In this story itself, wasn’t it established that Sangmin doesn’t really have schizophrenia since his hallucinations were given as a curse by an angel, right? I’m more focused on his actual actions and also his mindset, which are symptoms of psychopathy.

And schizophrenia is purely a mental illness. In places like the US I'm fairly certain it's a defense that can be used under the Reason By Insanity clause. It's a mitigating factor because you're not in complete control of your actions. Whereas with psychopathy you are in control of your actions, given by the fact that most psychopaths are not criminals. So I'm sure that the people who want to put him in jail would have to prove that his actions weren't undertaken when he was experiencing a schizophrenic episode.

I don't think he has ASD, like to an extent as psychopathy. He's obviously to manic, obsessive and still upholds guilt when he hallucinates. Even if he's cursed, in the medical world, it's still schizophrenia. Just because he killed someone, repeatedly that can actually make him a serial killer at this point, that doesn't mean he has ASD. And ASD is complex, he's not showing remorse towards his victims because he's done it a lot of times. He wouldn't be competing with MC in the first place. He has other disorders but I don't psychopathy is one of them.

even without the curse, I doubt he'll still have ASD, probably narcissism as a primary. As what I have researched and watched about people with ASD, especially the once who are in the highest spectrum and are really high functioning, they mimic feelings and try to adapt to it because they still want to feel that belongingness and whatnot but it's hard for it to be genuinely theirs. Sangnim or whatever his name is obviously full of jealousy, self-loathing and suppressed guilt to be ASD.
I'm afraid he can't go to jail since he's mentally unstable?Σ(  ̄□ ̄||)
