khalid is actually a good guy because all he said to the king was a lie apart from the one with the if you want me to be a dog shit he didn't actually kill the fl because she was stupid (lmao but she def stupid) but because he didn't want to break her mentally and to keep her honor as a noble knight 'cause she killed innocent pips but he didn't want to tell her. tbh what he did was wrong but he got a point there rather than seeing the one you love suffer why not just end it all at once? but he was branded as a traitor so it's still a lose-lose situation, lose because they lost and many still died and his effort of killing her was in vain because she reincarnated anyway
