I agree! On its own this manga is great! I don't believe people are taking our mc's past into consideration as they read through. we can't expect a former gang leader to change so suddenly. That's the reason there are so many chapters as this is his story of trying to right his wrongs and to have a better future.
They're also complaining about the romance part, which i can understand but for now as the genres clearly state there is no harem tag for those who dislike the "harem route." I'd also like to mention that they're teenage girls who not only like our mc but genuinely care for him. Would you be able to sit idly by if you thought your closest friend was in potential to serious danger? As much as we are frustrated when they are in/ or getting themselves into trouble we should understand their reasons.
Also, this is just something i wanna say but it kind of makes me sad that people are comparing this story to other second life mangas. I notice there's a lot of people doing that for other stories and even comparing them to Solo Leveling, (Which yes, we all know it's an amazing manhwa) but we should stop comparing and at least give appreciation when it's due.

About romance part, tbh I also hate harem to the bone.. But I don't see it here, not yet. In my eyes, they are still in one-sided-crush loveline. Harem is more like the MC loving all the fishes, kissing all the fishes, groping all the fishes, and having sex with all the fishes. And all the fishes are like horny 24/7 and want to be laid asap and breed. But here, we only see puppy loves and some friendships.
I will never drop this unless someone come and tell me that this manhwa was based on a novel and years later he ended up as King of Harem, before then all is well. Why drop such a good manhwa?
Ture talk my friend. The male lead is pretty much going through a recycled process right now and shouldn't expect him to be a superhero in a minute. I like this very much because it's realistic in it's time frame and the events. Also people need to take in consideration that the setting of the stories about gang life which is pretty much violence. People need to come their tits down and enjoy the great piece this manga is
Ah yes, i hate harem as well. I've probably only made a few exceptions in some mangas (i cant think of any atm) but most of them had very bad female/male love interests, it was very hard to read. ╥﹏╥
My reason for dropping would be the same as yours. I know our mc is quite experienced but i hope it doesn't come down to that. A destined lover does sound nice!
Yes! I also like the pacing. The events, imo, never felt rushed or too slow and it is realistic like you said! It really is saddening that there is quite a bit of criticism towards it.
I would only drop this manga if it were to completely lose itself in future chapters or have a harem ending as i mentioned in a previous comment.

Sure.. he can start studying now. Maybe he will become a doctor then, or a lawyer. But he already an asshole when he regressed back. He already beaten people everywhere when he turned back the time. Do you think those victims and gangsters will be "OOOHH so you are a nerd now?? How joyful! Okay we'll leave you alone.. Study well, kiddo!" and they start avoid him??? Hell.. they would start beating him up and said he deserve it and he would not fighting back because you guys don't want him to...then he is dead.
It was more make sense for him to keep fighting, for now.. I never said forever because from what I see, he is indeed trying to change. For a full-throttled-muscle-brain to think about "need to make connections" for money making already one step forward in my eyes.. not to mention he start scheming with the way he acts LOL
Just my opinion tho..if you still think he is useless then maybe this is not for you? You need to find others then.
