I think it was more of they both are two sides of the same coin. Both outcasts in their society. Which they both get to know each other and starting to crush on one another. Especially since according to them to they are neither of that the rumors speak of them.
The romance went from 0 to 100 real damn quick,, like this is one of the mangas that i can say the FL fell for the ML out of nowhere. And ML fell for FL purely because 'she is the first to not run from me'.
The romance is kinda shallow idk, and the political stuff is also pretty simple, but its kinda funny when the characters go like, " nANi??!!"
